Hi Steve,
Thank you for the call today to let us know that the deed was recorded and escrow is done. There is always a sigh of relief when escrows close, but this one had a more significant impact than the others over the last 30 years of buying and selling homes and rentals.
The sale of our house in Oceanside was the biggest challenge thus far due to the fact that not only were there tenants in the house at the time of listing, but my husband and I are living in Hawaii, far from being able to do anything ourselves in person.
After speaking with you a couple of times at the start and deciding to list with your Assist2Sell office, one of my sons remarked that agencies, such as yours, were “no service” agencies. My response was that I have paid 6% commissions in the past and not received good service, so the odds weren’t any different.
Steve, you gave us nothing but service, including but not limited to:
1. Good advice on listing, providing detailed comps and what to do before listing.
2. Good advice regarding tenants as well as establishing a good working relationship with them.
3. Professional handling of the offers that came in and counter offer suggestions.
4. Helping us obtain and/or coordinate service people including repairs, termite, gardening, carpet cleaner, inspectors, appraiser and at competitive rates. You were even there to supervise and help clean up after the tenants left and made a couple of trips to Home Depot for us.
5. At all times, you were prompt in responding to correspondence whether it was by phone or email as well as making yourself physically available at the house when necessary.
The details could go on, but in all honesty, we do not believe this successful sale would have happened or been completed without your knowledge, dedication and assistance.
It was a pleasure to work with you and I can now tell family and friends that the “Assist” in Assist2Sell genuinely means you will receive assistance of the highest quality with Steve Coykendall.
